What is a hybrid turbocharger?

The name hybrid turbocharger is valid when the turbocharger is assembled from other different components from two or more models of different turbochargers. For example, in a given turbocharger, the original hot part (turbine part) is used, but to it we add a larger (taken from another turbocharger model) cold part (compressor part) or compressor blade, etc.

What is a hybrid turbocharger used for?

Through hybrid turbochargers, it is possible to achieve the production of a much more powerful turbocharger that generates much higher efficiency, while saving space and facilitating installation because the original grips are retained, etc. A hybrid that uses the original hot part is easily installed on the car and thus saves a lot of space and exhaust system modification, etc., while at the same time the new larger compressor part and fin allow a drastic increase in power.
